Designers and decorators bring AGG in early because we work off their language. Templates can come from an in-home measure, an in-shop paper template, or designer CAD and shop drawings. For home gyms, dance, and yoga studios, full-wall mirror gives cleaner sightlines for form-checking and ballet-bar work — and AGG specifies 1/4" tempered safety mirror on every full-wall gym, dance, and yoga install. Polished, beveled, or pencil edges turn a functional piece into a designer detail, with custom dimensions, radius corners, arched tops, and cutouts for outlets and sconces handled in the same fabrication run.

Custom mirror pricing at AGG is per-job across three tiers: residential bathroom or decorative cut-to-spec runs $300–$2,500+ per job, gym, dance studio, or full-wall installation runs $600–$3,500+, and statement, luxury beveled, or designer-spec wall mirror runs $1,500–$5,000+. Final pricing depends on wall span, mirror type (1/4" plate vs. tempered safety), edge work (polished, beveled, pencil, or mitered), backing (standard, copper-free silver, or shock-resistant), install method (J-channel plus mastic vs. clips vs. standoffs), and cutouts. 1/4" plate mirror is the standard spec for bathroom vanity, decorative, and most residential work — annealed glass, silvered backing, polished or beveled edges. 1/4" tempered safety mirror is heat-treated for impact resistance — when broken, it crumbles into small pebble-like pieces rather than sharp shards, and pairs with shock-resistant safety backing. AGG specifies tempered safety mirror for any full-wall gym, dance, or yoga install and any mirror over 6' tall.
Polished is a smooth flat or rounded modern edge — the most common finish, included on most jobs. Beveled is a decorative chamfer typically 1/2"–3/4" wide, the classic luxury look. Pencil edge is a softly rounded edge, a modern alternative to flat polished. AGG also cuts ogee (decorative S-curve) and mitered (45° glass-to-glass joint at corners) on designer-spec projects.
Full-wall mirror installs typically use J-channel at top and bottom (rail mounted to the wall, mirror slides in) paired with mirror mastic adhesive and mechanical clip backup. Smaller decorative or vanity mirrors use 4-corner mirror clips. Heavy decorative mirrors over 6' tall or 50+ lbs use a French cleat. Standoffs create a floating look on designer applications. AGG confirms the method during the site measure.
Yes — antifog coating is recommended for bathroom mirrors near or directly across from a shower. The coating is a thin hydrophilic layer applied at fabrication that prevents condensation buildup, so the mirror stays clear after a hot shower. AGG also recommends copper-free silver backing for humid bathrooms to prevent edge corrosion and dark spots over time. Both upgrades are spec'd at quote time.
Every AGG consultation is free, designer- and decorator-friendly, and built around your project — virtual photo-based for stock vanity, in-home for full-wall and custom-shape work, or coordinated off CAD when a designer or contractor is leading the spec. I need to replaced a broken seal window pane. It was very easy to schedule the measurement and installation thru Loren. Trevor and Kevin did a fantastic job with the measurement and installation.

From start to finish our experience was perfect. The tech, Trevor, was tidy, polite, meticulous with his work. We had a couple of non-square pieces that needed precise patterns and he got them traced out exact. I'd highly recommend this company. Prior to calling we were stood up by one, then another came out and said they'd get us an estimate but never did. I was exasperated! Needless to say I was concerned but 3rd time was a charm.

Looking for glass replacement for broken window seal. I wasn’t up for replacing the entire window and called for pricing and info. American Glass & Glazing responded promptly. I appreciate that they sent the same technicians to quote the job and perform the installation. They were on time, kind and courteous. I appreciate craftsmen working on my home having patience and not being in a giant rush to do a job. That is what I got with this company. I’ve decided to add another window for glass replacement that appears to be on its way out. I highly recommend calling American Glass & Glazing for your broken window seals if you have cloudy glass. I wasn’t up for trying to figure out who the window manufacturer is then pay shipping, removing interior shutters and having it installed myself then re-installing shutters & caulk which is how window warranty works. No thanks! If you’re considering a solution for your windows with broken seals, give them a call.
