At American Glass & Glazing, glass-only replacement in an existing door typically runs $300–$1,200+ per pane depending on glass spec. Interior glass door installation (new) runs $800–$3,500+ per door depending on style and hardware. Sliding patio door replacement (full unit) runs $1,500–$6,000+ depending on whether scope is glass-only, glass-and-hardware, or full door-and-frame. Frameless glass entry doors (luxury tier) run $3,500–$10,000+ for laminated impact-rated coastal exterior with custom hardware. HOA full-package window-and-door programs are scope-quoted by community size, unit count, and specification.
Yes — when the frame, track, and rollers are sound, AGG replaces just the glass pane rather than the full unit. Patio panes are typically insulated glass units (IGUs); AGG fabricates a replacement to the exact dimensions and seal spec, with install same-day to one week. When the frame or rollers are compromised, full-door replacement is the better path.
Not required by code on every residential application, but strongly recommended for coastal exterior on the Grand Strand. AGG installs laminated impact-rated tempered glass meeting ASTM E 1886 / E 1996 wind-borne debris standards; commercial impact-rated work uses YKK AP ProTek-class systems. Eligible specs may qualify for the SC Safe Home Mitigation Grant.
HOA boards consolidate a community's window and door replacement under a single licensed contractor — AGG operates under SC GC unlimited license #124400, no height limit, multi-family / restoration scope. Programs run multi-unit on a phased community schedule; AGG coordinates measure, fabrication, and install with the board, property manager, or restoration GC. Scope-quoted by community size, unit count, and specification.
AGG offers same-day or next-day site visits where possible for emergency repair after storms, vandalism, or accidents. When the spec is in stock, the work completes the same visit; when it's not, AGG fabricates the replacement and provides temporary board-up in the meantime. A single team handles assessment through finish.

From start to finish our experience was perfect. The tech, Trevor, was tidy, polite, meticulous with his work. We had a couple of non-square pieces that needed precise patterns and he got them traced out exact. I'd highly recommend this company. Prior to calling we were stood up by one, then another came out and said they'd get us an estimate but never did. I was exasperated! Needless to say I was concerned but 3rd time was a charm.

Looking for glass replacement for broken window seal. I wasn’t up for replacing the entire window and called for pricing and info. American Glass & Glazing responded promptly. I appreciate that they sent the same technicians to quote the job and perform the installation. They were on time, kind and courteous. I appreciate craftsmen working on my home having patience and not being in a giant rush to do a job. That is what I got with this company. I’ve decided to add another window for glass replacement that appears to be on its way out. I highly recommend calling American Glass & Glazing for your broken window seals if you have cloudy glass. I wasn’t up for trying to figure out who the window manufacturer is then pay shipping, removing interior shutters and having it installed myself then re-installing shutters & caulk which is how window warranty works.
