If your windows are foggy or hazy between the panes, the perimeter seal on the insulated glass unit has failed and trace moisture has entered the sealed cavity — it's not a cleaning problem; the moisture sits on the inside surfaces of the glass where you can't reach it. The fix is to replace the insulated glass unit (IGU) — the sealed dual- or triple-pane assembly with its spacer, desiccant, and inert gas fill — while the existing window frame, sash, and hardware stay in place. Yes — air fill is standard on AGG residential IGU replacements. Argon is available as an option, though it is rarely used in our region. When selected, argon restores roughly six times the insulating value of plain air between the panes, and it's inert, colorless, and stable inside a properly sealed unit. Krypton is also available as a premium upgrade for triple-pane builds and thinner cavities where performance needs to be maximized
Total lead time runs 1–2 weeks from approved quote to install, with custom fabrication as the long pole. On-site installation typically takes 1–2 hours per IGU, and multiple units in one home batch into a single visit. The existing frame and sash stay in place throughout, so window downtime is limited to the install hour itself.
Replacement IGUs come with the manufacturer warranty on the sealed unit itself (the manufacturer's warranty has historically covered dual-seal insulated glass units for 10 years from the date of manufacture against failure of the edge seal that causes moisture, dust, or film to form between the panes under normal use; specific terms set by the IGU manufacturer per build), plus AGG's 1-year installation warranty on the work itself. Specific warranty terms — both the manufacturer coverage and the AGG installation coverage — are confirmed at the in-home consultation before the quote is approved.

From start to finish our experience was perfect. The tech, Trevor, was tidy, polite, meticulous with his work. We had a couple of non-square pieces that needed precise patterns and he got them traced out exact. I'd highly recommend this company. Looking for glass replacement for broken window seal. I wasn’t up for replacing the entire window and called for pricing and info. American Glass & Glazing responded promptly. I appreciate that they sent the same technicians to quote the job and perform the installation. They were on time, kind and courteous. I appreciate craftsmen working on my home having patience and not being in a giant rush to do a job. That is what I got with this company. I’ve decided to add another window for glass replacement that appears to be on its way out. I highly recommend calling American Glass & Glazing for your broken window seals if you have cloudy glass. I wasn’t up for trying to figure out who the window manufacturer is then pay shipping, removing interior shutters and having it installed myself then re-installing shutters & caulk which is how window warranty works.
