Three-Panel Diagonal Configuration with 135° Corner Cuts
The configuration is three tempered-glass panels — two fixed panels anchored along the bathroom's adjacent walls and a hinged or pivot door on the diagonal face. The two interior corner angles where the fixed panels meet the door are 135° rather than the 90° of a corner enclosure. The result is a pentagonal footprint inside the shower that frees roughly 25% of the corner-pocket floor a 90° corner would occupy.
A typical AGG neo-angle measures 36"–42" along each wall-side leg with a 22"–28" door face — total floor footprint runs roughly 8–10 square feet. Glass spec is 3/8" tempered safety glass standard, up to four times stronger than annealed; 1/2" heavy glass is available for taller or wider panels on designer-spec'd luxury baths (Heavy Glass with Inline Panel →).
Mounting is structural. Wall-anchored hinge clips, U-channel along the floor and tops of the fixed panels, and solid blocking behind the tile on the hinge wall so the door's weight loads cleanly through the panel. Hardware is CRL (C.R. Laurence) clamps, pivot hinges, and U-channel — corrosion-resistant for the Grand Strand's humidity and salt-air environment. Every enclosure is fabricated to the exact bathroom corner. No kit sizes.
